Ski Day

So after a long and snowy winter, today was probably the sunniest and warmest day of the year so far and Jordan spent it in the snow! It was his first time skiing. He and Chris went to Alta for the day, a fun way to spend the last day of Spring Break. (Looks like they forgot the sunscreen. Woops.)

A Special Sunday

Easter Sunday was a very special day for Jordan. He was given the Priesthood and ordained as a Deacon by his dad. It was a beautiful spring day and he was blessed to have a lot of support from family at the ordination. MorMor and Papa came, Greg was here, Grandma and Grandpa and Doug, Mark, and David and Jessie and their kids were all here too. There was a good spirit in the room as he received this amazing gift.

12th Birthday

Jordan was a little disappointed when most of the kids he invited to his birthday party ended up being out of town for Spring Break. But his day turned out fun anyway. He chose to have lunch at Chuck-a-Rama and Papa drove up and met us there. Jordan ate a plethora of chicken legs. Mary & Lisa brought him the cake pictured above...

Ben, Richard and Taylor came to the party. They played ball, ate, opened presents and then they got to go to the Jazz game as a team.

Jordan got this Deron Williams jersey (just in time for the game), from MorMor & Papa.

We gave him NBA '08 for the Wii and Jemma gave him some skull candy -- just what he wanted! Grandma, Grandpa & Greg came up Wednesday night to say happy birthday, share some Peanut Butter & Chocolate ice cream and gave Jordan a new basketball, a book about the priesthood and a tie. Perfect stuff for him.
